Best Free WiFi Spots in San Francisco, Nationwide

There are two things that all humans seem to constantly need. Food and Wi-Fi. Thankfully, there are many delicious restaurants and cafés in San Francisco offer both. Don’t live in San Francisco? Keep reading to find our favorite places to connect and refuel in the Bay Area and all across the country.

Starbucks – Although Starbucks is notoriously crowded and busy, its a great place to stop in there for a caffeine and WiFi fix. The Google Wi-Fi is fast and reliable, and there is almost always available seating. It is a great environment for a longer stay when you need to buckle down and get some work done.

Pret A Manger  – The store only has locations in NYC, Chicago, Boston, and DC but if you are in any of those areas, we highly recommend taking a trip there. This chain offers fresh, organic and delicious salads, soups, sandwiches and baked goods as well as coffees, juices, and teas that are all very reasonably priced. The WiFi password is only offered to patrons (found on your receipt) to ensure that it is high speed and secure, so grab some yummy lunch and enjoy the WiFi.

Chick-Fil-A is bringing their delicious chicken into the tech world with a new app and fast, free WiFi. The app allows you to mobile order your meal and skip the line, so use this time you save to surf the web or check instagram with their Wi-Fi access.

Le Pain Quotidien – Like Pret A Manger, Le Pain’s locations are also limited, but we had to include it because we love the seasonal organic dishes, cozy, clean environment, and super fast, free WiFi. Le Pain is always full of people working on their computers or phones so it is a great place to go and do your work. Try the Mint Lemonade!

Other national chains that offer WiFi include Dunkin Donuts, Panera Bread, and McDonalds. Tweet us your favorites @sfowired!
