Digital camera giant Nikon announced a new lens in their Nikkor lineup this week. According to Market Wired, the new NIKKOR 105mm f/1.4E ED lens uses the latest and greatest technology from Nikon to bring user a better photography experience.
Some of The lens’ new features tech specs including an exceptionally fast f/1.4 aperture, internal focusing with manual focus overriding, and three extra low-dispersion elements. The latter is important for rendering images with clear, natural colors. Paired with the use of a Silent Wave Motor AF system, the NIKKOR lens operates quickly and can switch between auto and manual focus with speed and ease.
The release of the Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 105mm f/1.4E ED lens follows behind the release of Nikon’s AF-S NIKKOR 58mm f/1.4G lens. This new lens however boasts to give its user clear, bokeh imagery. The lens is also noted to have beneficial features for working in locations with lower lighting.
Set to be Nikon’s best 105mm lens, the electromagnetic diaphragm control mechanisms grants users exceptional accuracy with exposures, an important factor with the faster rate newer cameras currently shoot at.
